As per the Brand Finance Airlines 50 2024 rankings, Qatar Airways (brand value up 27% to USD3.1 billion) stands at the 2 most valuable Middle Eastern brand maintaining its brand strength rating at AA+. Of Djokovic’s partnership, Qatar Airways Group chief executive officer, Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said:
“We are thrilled to welcome Novak Djokovic to the Qatar Airways family. Novak’s extraordinary career, defined by record-breaking achievements and an unrelenting drive to succeed, mirrors our own commitment to excellence. Our global network will support Novak as he competes at the highest level in tournaments around the world and continues to set new standards in the sport of tennis. Novak truly personifies the ambitious drive for excellence, making the tennis legend the perfect choice as our Global Brand Ambassador and Wellness Advisor.”
The Serbian star has had plenty of opportunities to enhance his Slam record on the tour this year, but, unfortunately, he couldn’t capitalize on them. He lost the Wimbledon summit clash to Carlos Alcaraz for the second consecutive time and withdrew from multiple high-level events, including the season-ending ATP Finals. However, he finally brought glory to Serbia after earning the elusive Olympic gold at the Summer Olympics. Despite minor setbacks, Djokovic’s relentless pursuit of high performance remains unparalleled.

Excitement working on upcoming projects has seemingly become Nole’s motto this offseason. The Serbian sensation recently revealed that he hired a new coach, an unexpected choice that stunned his fans.
Novak Djokovic hires arch-rival Andy Murray as coach
Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray aren’t your regular pair of tennis rivals who met on the tour as they tried advancing their agendas. The duo battled since they were teenagers, both at 19 years to be precise(having born just a week apart in May 1987), and carried on their feisty rivalry for years on the ATP. After blessing fans with their on-court thrillers, Djokovic decided to bring Sir Andy to his coaching camp, hoping to lift his Grand Slam drought for this season. Both stars will work closely till the Australian Open, at least, and later figure out a gameplay according to where they stand.

The Serbian player aired the update to fans, saying, “We played each other since we were boys, 25 years of being rivals, of pushing each other beyond our limits. We had some of the most epic battles in our sport. They called us game changers, risk-takers, history-makers. I thought our story may be over, turns out it has one final chapter. It’s time for one of my toughest opponents to step into my corner. Welcome on board, coach Andy Murray.”
Djokovic will be focused on scripting a turnaround in 2025. After occasionally acting his age this year, Nole might not have more chances to further his stellar legacy if results don’t favor him.
