The Miami Dolphins have started winning the games. After their three-straight wins, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and the team are eager to continue the same vibe throughout the season. However, the next matchup, which is against the Green Bay Packers, might hamper their plans this time.
Well, at least former Dolphins’s head coach, Jimmy Johnson thinks so. Yes, you heard it right! Johnson, who recently appeared on The Herd with Colin Cowherd show, revealed his doubt on Miami’s future. But before saying it, Johnson gave a condition to Tua Tagovailoa and the team, by saying, “I think the Dolphins are in a situation right now with their schedule: if they could beat Green Bay, they would have an outside chance at a playoff. (So) they have to win.”
But here’s the catch! The 81-year-old, who doesn’t like cold weather, continued, “….but if they have to win, they have to beat Green Bay. And they’re not going to beat Green Bay, you know, a short week against a good football team in 20-degree weather. I don’t think that’s going to happen.”

Hence, Johnson thinks Tua Tagovailoa, who recently was awarded as the AFC Offensive Player of the Week 12 this time (along with RB Saquon Barkley) by the NFL, is incapable of leading his Miami team to victory. The reason – chilly weather and a good rival team at their home waiting for them.
It’s surprising to hear Jimmy Johnson’s doubtfulness on Tua Tagovailoa, who connected with eight different pass catchers in the last game, making it one of the best performances of his career. He finished off the game with 29-of-40 passes for 317 yards and four touchdowns. In fact, Tom Brady also chose him in his top 3 performers of the week on his FOX show.
Despite all of these, Johnson feels the bad weather can stop the Phins from winning this one.
How bad is the weather going to be for Tua Tagovailoa and the team?
The Miami Dolphins vs Green Bay Packers game is going to kick off on November 28. The Thanksgiving clash is scheduled to take place at 8:20 p.m. ET at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. And as the winter has arrived, the game is going to be a freezy one. However, it won’t be that cold to almost freeze the Dolphins, but yes, via SI, “about 28 degrees with a wind-chill index of 18 and maybe a few flurries,” might trouble Tua Tagovailoa’s team.

In addition to that, as per the reports, “a west-northwest wind will range from 10 to 15 mph.” However, it doesn’t mean it will advantage the Packers, given their earlier loss against the Lions a few weeks ago, where they failed to handle the rains and cold. On the other hand, Miami is currently experiencing more than 50 degrees warmer temperatures at their home than Green Bay, which is just 3-7 in temperatures over 23 degrees or colder.
So, it will be an exciting game this time. Let’s see who wins this one!
