But what’s behind the surface has everyone in knots since Kayla was at the centre of some nasty financial rumors surrounding her breakup with Kelce.

During their on-and-off relationship that first ended in 2020, rumors swirled that Kayla referred to Kelce as cheap. Wait there’s more!! There were speculations going around that the couple would split expenses on dates and bills 50/50. But Kayla here finally decided now is the right time to finally address these rumors. During her appearance on Angel Reese’s Unapologetically Angel podcast, she laughed off the rumors saying, “Do I look like I would go 50-50 on bills?” She also clarified that it was never an issue during the time the couple spent together. She also remarked that Kelce himself had dismissed these rumors. 

Despite Kayla’s statements, the internet and the public will never let the narrative go as long as it entertains them. And now her inexpensive coffee date tweet only adds fuel to the fire. Not only Kelce fans but Swifties are also divided on the insinuation here — a playful jab at Kelce or a genuine reflection of her current dating scene?
