Standing 4th in the AFC West, Tom Brady’s Las Vegas Raiders have confirmed a major update on their Friday match-up against the Kansas City Chiefs. Earlier, the Raiders admitted that they have activated QB Aidan O’Connell from the reserve list.

But now, the franchise has taken a $5 million decision for the fight against the top contender in the AFC West – the Chiefs (10-1). But what’s the 5 million dollar worth deal?

Well, the five-million-dollar deal is the Raiders are signing WR Terrace Marshall. Before inducted into the Raiders team, the #80 WR was started making headlines in August when he was removed from the Carolina Panthers‘ active roster. The 24-year-old WR entered the league when the Panthers picked him in the 2nd round of the 2021 draft.

The decision was followed by the Raiders additionally placing CB Jekorian Bennett and quarterback Gardner Minshew on the reserve list. But why are they in reserve? Minshew broke his left collarbone against the Denver Broncos on November 25, which was a loss by 29-19. CB Bennett, on the other hand, is out of the active team for a shoulder injury. In the absence of #0, rookie Decamerion Richardson should work hard to fill the void.

Another additional update about the Raiders is that they have activated running back Sincere McCormick from the practice squad. Preparations for the game against Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs are heating up. Any further details about the showdown on Friday at Arrowhead Stadium will be exciting.

Have an interesting take?

Andy Reid’s Chiefs are sitting pretty at the top of AFC West with a 10-1 record. The most fascinating thing about the Raiders’ opponents is that they have consecutively won 18 out of 19 games (including the previous season). the Las Vegas team is surely under a lot of pressure to land a win. So, losing important players like Gardner Minshew due to injury is troubling for the Raiders fans.

Tom Brady’s team has had a terrible season so far. They have lost 9 games out of 11 games, currently they have a losing streak of 7 games. Their only two wins were vs the Ravens on September 15 and the Cleveland Browns on September 30.

After their game against the Chiefs, the Raiders will be facing the Buccaneers, Falcons, Jaguars, Saints and the Los Angeles Chargers. With only 7 games left for the team, it’s safe to say they are in a do-or-die situation and losing even a single game can be catastrophic to their already abysmal season. Whether there’s some fight left in Antonio Pierce‘s Raiders for the season or not is surely unclear for now!
