Football doesn’t seem to stop for holidays, as stakes are higher than they ever were. With Christmas and New Year’s Eve a month away, Thanksgiving kick-starts the holiday season. It’s that time of the year when families come together and get their bellies full of roasted turkeys and whatnot. And NBC announcer Cris Collinsworth is one of those people who isn’t ready to sacrifice his Thanksgiving meal.

Although Collinsworth was supposed to announce the Packers vs Dolphins game on the NBC channel, he won’t be doing it for this week. He has somewhat taken a sabbatical to enjoy his Thanksgiving, connecting with friends and family. But don’t you worry; Cris Collinsworth will be back before NBC’s ‘Sunday Night Football’ coverage this week.

So, who would be the ones leading today’s NBC’s Packers vs Dolphins broadcasting crew? Well, Mike Tirico (play-by-play), Collinsworth’s usual partner in-game coverage and Jason Garrett (analyst) will be tasked to announce the Packers vs Dolphins. And to add flair from the sideline in Green Bay, Melissa Stark will offer musings. This means the people watching on TV won’t have to deal with any dull coverage as the NBC’s Thanksgiving crew have got your back.

Get your popcorn and couches ready to watch the Packers welcome a Dolphins side who are on a three-game winning streak. Green Bay, which finds itself third in their division, are still in the hunt for playoffs. With a record of 8-3, they only need the Vikings (9-2) and Lions (10-1) to slip up a little to gain an advantage.

As for the Dolphins, they must keep stacking those wins. Standing at a record of 5-6, a few more wins in the following weeks would help them make it to the postseason. With the Patriots (3-9) and the Jets (3-8) seemingly out of the playoff picture, the Dolphins could cement second place in the AFC East. Apart from the Packers vs Dolphins, there are two more clashes that you can also binge-watch on Thanksgiving.
