Each of us has a favorite food that we have loved to gorge on since our very childhood right? That stands true even for two-time Cup series champion Kyle Busch who recently shared his favorite meal that he could simply gobble in his teenage days! In a lighthearted revelation, Busch was recently seen talking about how he still remembers his record-breaking appetite and his favorite chili cheese hot dogs. 

You would be shocked to know that not only on the tracks, Busch had the capability of breaking records even when it comes to his appetite. Kyle Busch opened up about his favorite food memory with his grandmother. 

Childhood and hotdogs make the perfect combination 

It dates back to the time when Busch was just 12 and a growing boy does have an appetite that can take in mountains. He broke down the memory for his fans which exactly showcased how much he was in love with the chili cheese hotdogs. He said, “So when I was 12 or 13, growing boy right? I go to Wienerschnitzel with my grandmother for lunch. They had the I think they had three right ? I ordered three. I said, I’m still hungry. I ordered three more. I said I’m still hungry like all the way to eleven. I had 11 in one sitting”. Well, certainly gobbling up 11 hotdogs at one go is an unimaginable feat right? Even his wife Samantha was seen sharing about how Busch simply loves the hotdogs and his favorite fast food joint is none other than Wienerschnitzel. 

Samantha often takes to Instagram and is seen sharing small anecdotes about what the Busch family is up to. She recently shared a story in a fast food restaurant enjoying some fries and hotdogs. Her story read, “Back to one of Kyle’s childhood favs #vegas”. Samantha’s next story further revealed that it is not only Kyle Busch who is a fan of the hotdogs at the popular outlet, even their tiny two-year-old daughter Lennix has become a profound fan of the same. Another story from Samantha portrayed the two-year-old having a gala time and it read, “She’s a fan”. 

While Busch might not have had the best season in 2024, it certainly does not undermine the fact that he has been breaking records beyond hotdogs. Be it winning the Cup Series Championship twice or even breaking Mark Martin’s 49-win record and replacing it with 102 wins in the Xfinity Series. Busch is also known to account for 63 wins in the Truck Series which is quite a remarkable number to achieve.

As for the offseason, Busch has a packed schedule involving a venture into unknown territory.

While most of the drivers are embarking on a break during this time of the season, free of any kind of driving it seems as though Busch has some different plans. Currently, the Nevada native is exploring the world of dirt midget racing and this is indeed a new domain for him. Busch fans already know that currently, the icon is eyeing the much coveted Chili Bowl Nationals for 2025. Although Busch is a debutant in this field of racing, one cannot undermine that the kind of experience he has will work wonders. 

“The Chili Bowl is a legendary event and has always been on my wish list. To be able to compete there, and then alongside my son Brexton at the Tulsa Shootout, is making this year one to remember,” said Busch. The nationals will take place in January next year as fans eagerly await Busch’s midget dirt racing debut.

Busch is also expected to compete in the annual Snowball Derby in 2024. The 2x Cup series Champion has seen success there as well with two Snowball derby titles coming in 2009 and 2017. With his determination and adaptability, Busch is proving that his passion for racing knows no bounds, even in uncharted territories like midget racing. Fans are eagerly anticipating his journey this offseason, where his skill and experience could make a significant impact.
