In the world of advertising, just about anything goes, and sometimes people can be forced to do some silly things. Any child or teenager is intimately familiar with the second-hand embarrassment when their parents use modern slang. Of course, a lot of older folks think it is fun to use such slang and enjoy themselves. Evidently, Brad Keselowski and the Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing team formed the same opinion.

During the off-season, there is not much for the drivers or teams to do except prepare for the upcoming campaign. Aside from the usual business of improving the car, one of the most important tasks is to secure sponsors. In light of this, Keselowski and his team recently announced their newest sponsor, and they got creative. The sponsor in question is Kroger, which is reportedly worth $43 billion.

The RFK social media depicted Keselowski, teammate Chris Buescher, and new recruit Ryan Preece. Each of them was trying their level best to be as cool and as hip as possible. Some might find their attempts cringeworthy, but most found it hilarious. Regardless of how the fans received the video, the trio of drivers definitely had a lot of fun.

How did Brad Keselowski and company make their announcement?

At the start of the video, a decked-out Keselowski said, “Yo fam! Big vibes today. We talking major news, low key huge. Ya boy and the squad just went exclusive with Kroger.” Meanwhile, Buescher cheered. “Yee Yee! Y’all!” though he struggled to keep a straight face and cracked up immediately. After composing himself, he said, “Yee Yee! Y’all! That Kroger BBQ aisle? Elite! Who’s this diva?” Preece cut in, “Let’s go! Bet you didn’t see that coming, huh?”

The trio continued the act, “Kroger Racing has been flexin’ for years! Period. 10/10, no cap. We’re all on that grind. Kroger giving that Victory Lane energy. If you see us grocery shopping in our race suits, mind your business. Finna slay all next season. Let’s wrap this up fam. Fast for everyone. Kroger and RFK Racing gonna be bussin’ for real in 2025.”

All jokes aside, the 2024 season was a bit of a mixed bag for the organization. Both drivers picked up wins this year, but only Brad Keselowski‘s win at Darlington counted towards the Playoffs. Chris Buescher failed to reach the Playoffs but did manage to sneak in a race win at Watkins Glen. Admittedly, Keselowski couldn’t advance beyond the Round of 16, but his win snapped a long dry spell.

With all that in mind, these are encouraging signs for the RFK Racing organization. To make matters even better, they have expanded to field three full-time Cup cars, with Ryan Preece behind the wheel as well. This was only made possible thanks to Stewart-Haas Racing selling nearly all its charters and rebranding to the Haas Factory Team.

All four of the team’s drivers became free agents and were quickly snapped up. Preece was among the last ones to land a Cup Series berth, but RFK Racing is an excellent destination for him.
