In an interview with Davey Segal, Boss-woman Allison Thorson highlighted the unique nature of this victory, saying, “I listen to their stories when they won their first championship or just watching in general how they approach their last championship race. I remember one of the times, Matt was just running away from the Championship… it definitely was a different game.”

She also praised Majeski’s composure, adding, “Ty, he has nerves of steel. He is so incredible to watch. I think it is special because it is Ty’s first championship… if you ever get sick of it or it doesn’t get exciting as an owner, as a team, then I say we should probably start doing something else.”

Competing in his second winner-take-all event, Majeski secured pole position for the sixth time this season, a series-high achievement. From the start, he maintained his grip on the race, winning Stage 2 and ultimately the championship. Although Corey Heim showed potential as a competitor, he couldn’t match Majeski’s flawless driving.’

Post the victory at Phoenix, Ty Majeski was seen ecstatic. He said, “I can’t believe it. A huge thank you to Duke and Rhonda Thorson (and) Joe Shear, Jr. He’s one bad dude. This is so much fun racing with this group. So proud to have the opportunity to drive these great race trucks. There’s a lot of times in my career where this looked like a far dream, and Duke and Rhonda really gave me my third opportunity”.

Ty Majeski making it to the victory line at the NASCAR Truck Series finale at the Phoenix Speedway was a remarkable feat. After the victory, he was seen to be quite emotional and he could not thank his wife enough for the kind of unwavering support that she has rendered towards him through the challenging times. As Majeski took to the Charlotte Convention Center for the NASCAR Awards Ceremony, he said, “Thank you to my entire family for all their sacrifices over the years. It takes a lot to do this. My wonderful wife, Ali, sitting over here. Thank you for weathering the storm with me. I wouldn’t be here without you”. For those who don’t know, Majeski got engaged to his wife in the year 2018 and since then she has been spotted attending most of the races to cheer her husband up.
