As the 2024 NASCAR Cup season draws ever closer, Richard Childress Racing is preparing for it. The latest move is hiring Global Industrial as a primary sponsor for the upcoming campaign. This deal is two-fold because the Fortune 1000 company is sponsoring Austin Hill in the Xfinity Series. However, even bigger than that, is that the company is going to be a primary sponsor for Kyle Busch in 2024.
NEWS: @Global_Indust returns to RCR as a multi-race primary partner for @_AustinHill and the No. 21 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, as well as making their debut in the NASCAR Cup Series as a primary partner for @KyleBusch and the No. 8 Camaro.

According to reports, Global Industrial will feature on Hill’s #21 car. In addition to that, it is making its Cup Series debut has the 2-time champion’s primary partner in the #8 Chevrolet Camaro. At the moment, it has not been confirmed, how many Xfinity races the brand will feature in, as Hill’s sponsor contract is a multi-race one. However, Global Industrial is officially confirmed as Kyle Busch’s main sponsor. This is good news for Busch, especially on the back of Lucas Oil signing a new deal with him and RCR.
Richard Childress Racing are thrilled with the new deal
RCR president Torrey Galida said in a statement, “We are grateful for our partnership with Global Industrial to continue on a path of growth and to welcome them into the Cup Series. Witnessing Austin win two races last season in their primary scheme and seeing the excitement of their associates and customers in victory lane was a great way to cap off year two of the program. Global Industrial has done an excellent job of utilizing Austin for employee events and as a spokesperson at their national trade show. 2024 should be even more exciting as Kyle joins the Global Industrial family.”

2023 was a fairly decent campaign for Kyle Busch, with three wins during the season. Sadly, he finished the campaign in a disappointing 14th place. However, it was a decent maiden run with Richard Childress Racing. For this season, Kyle Busch will be on a mission to truly challenge for the title. He already has two Cup titles under his belt, but it would be a real feather in his cap if he sealed a title with RCR.

Earlier this week, Busch was dealt some harsh news from a business standpoint. After his Kyle Busch Motorsports team was bought by Spire Motorsports in 2023, his energy drinks brand will cease operation. The driver admitted, “Unfortunately, I’m here to say that Rowdy Energy will be ceasing operations and closing its doors in the coming weeks. Like many other new consumer brands, the headwinds have proven to be too strong and it makes the most sense to end the journey so I can remain focused on my family and my racing career.”
For now, Busch will be focused on the 2024 season. Without a doubt, it would have been painful to see both of his beloved projects cruelly cut short. However, he can’t afford to dwell on that. Maybe in the future he could revive his Truck team once again, but that is still some time away.
