During an interview with Shannon Sharpe, the Twitch star sounded quite gung-ho about a potential face-off against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

IShowSpeed, who has tested himself against an incoming car, believes he can take on the unbeaten former world champion. After all, it may not be the first time he would be engaging a boxer. Oh, so who did he face earlier? It seems the Twitch streamer went head-to-head with a boxer. Nevertheless, he refused to take his name publicly. But is that sufficient to go against someone like Mayweather Jr.?

Seems so. IShowSpeed took Manny Pacquiao’s name when Shannon Sharpe asked whom he considered as the ‘GOAT’. Nevertheless, he seemed quite excited when Sharpe broached the possibilities of an exhibition fight against Mayweather Jr.: “Would you fight Floyd in an exhibition fight?”

“Yes,” replied IShowSpeed, adding, “I believe, but I’m a Manny Pacquiao fan. I think Manny Pacquiao is the GOAT in boxing, in my opinion… I take Manny over Floyd, like, you know, yeah, you remember back then, yeah, I take Manny.” Nevertheless, an exhibition against Mayweather sounded quite intriguing.

Shannon Sharpe didn’t waste any time and called out the Olympic bronze medalist: “Floyd, make it happen.” IShowSpeed also joined, “Floyd Hey Floyd, you don’t want the work either, bro. I promise you, Floyd. 6 months, let’s go.”

Sharpe highlighted that there was a good chance Mayweather Jr., who might be watching their conversation, may take the callout seriously and invite the Twitch star for his next fight. IShowSpeed acknowledged. He had no intentions of trolling the boxing legend. All he needed was six months to prepare for the match.

However, IShowSpeed believes that the chances of Floyd Mayweather Jr. taking up the fight might be bleak. The comment puzzled the host. Probably fearing an upset, the Twitch streamer added that most professional athletes seemed quite wary of facing him.

To cite an instance, he recalled an exchange with a professional boxer. “I think Floy might be pretty scared and antsy. I don’t know if Floy really is, because I had an altercation with another boxer. I’m not going to say his name, but it was a professional boxer. I was like, Yo, let’s box. He was like, No, man,” stated IShowSpeed.
