The Chicago Bears are in pretty bad shape right now. Losing five games in a row, Jonathan Owens & Co. are currently at the bottom of the NFC North table. Last Sunday, the football safety and his team were handed a 30-27 defeat by the Minnesota Vikings. While it was another ad day for the Chicago fans, Owens had something, or someone, special to keep him smiling. You guessed it, it was none other than his Olympic champ wife, Simone Biles.

Keeping up with the tradition, the gymnastics GOAT once again showed up at Soldier Field last weekend to cheer for her hubby and the Bears from the stands. With her Gold Over America Tour coming to an end, Biles has tons of time on her hands to execute her cheerleading duties for Owens. And that meant more to the NFL star than the defeat he had to concede.

On November 25, Owens uploaded an Instagram story showing scenes from the sidelines just before the Bears vs Vikings match. Captioned, “Always love having my baby there,” the social media update shows Biles and her football celebrity husband locking lips just before the action started. Owens shared the original clip of Biles that she uploaded on her own IG.

In 2024, Biles and Owens have had to spend a lot of time away from each other. With Simone’s Olympic responsibilities, she was kept extremely busy over the months to prepare for the big rumble. On the other hand, Owens joined the Bears earlier this year, and settling into his new office also demanded significant effort from him. And yet, the duo managed to wiggle out time whenever they could to show up at each other’s important meets or just to catch up on their lives.

After the Games too, Biles couldn’t catch a breather as she had to hit the road again for the second edition of the Gold Over America Tour. Her bae also did his best to watch her in action whenever he could and wasn’t shy to proclaim how brilliant of a champion of the sport Biles is. With the pop-styled show coming to an end, Simone mentioned that she was missing the thrill, but thankfully, she had enough to keep herself busy and away from feeling the blues.

In the past few weeks, Biles and Owens have been able to spend a lot of time together as a couple. From winning friendly dart competitions to watching the Chicago Bulls in action, it’s safe to say they’re doing everything they can to make up for the lost time. But more importantly, the 7x Olympic gold medalist has become a regular customer in the stands whenever the Chicago Bears had a match. The frequency of the games has also given Biles the perfect chance to fix her relationship with the fans: showing up in Bears merch every time in recent matches, Biles has earned the approval of the loyalists of the Chicago team. And that’s made Owens happy.

At Sunday’s match, Owens forced his opponents into a rare and impressive fumble that earned his squad a touchdown. Right after his feat, he threw his hands into the air in celebration, as if executing a perfect gymnastics dismount.
