It seems that the Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold hype train at the DWTS cannot be stopped. Fans just can’t seem to get enough of them, as their energetic performances leave them wanting to see it again and again. This has made them steady favorites to win the competition. However, while Stephen is completely engrossed in dancing right now, it doesn’t mean he has forgotten his gymnastics roots.
This was evident in his latest performance on October 15th. The duo performed Argentine Tango on stage, a completely new style for them. But what made it special was the fact that Stephen Nedoroscik gave tribute to the US gymnastics team with it. Moreover, during the performance, he was seen performing in the pommel, which was what brought him so much fame in the first place. This was part of the category in the show known as the Dedication Night.
After starting on the pommel, Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold proceeded with their routine of Argentine Tango. Continuing their impeccable background music choice, they performed on Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes. The performance was heavily praised by the judges, who gave a score of 33/40, their highest yet. They also got their first 9 in the competition from Derek Hough, making the night quite special.

Stephen Nedoroscik’s latest DWTS performance had fans absolutely buzzing. One fan summed it up perfectly, saying, “OHHH THIS WAS SO DIFFERENT FOR THEM!!! truly both bada—s! his best dance DEFINITELY ❤️❤️.” Usually known for his high-energy, cheerful vibe, Stephen took on the Argentinian Tango—a style that’s all about technique and serious expressions, way outside his usual comfort zone. But guess what? He nailed it. Talk about flipping the script! He subverted expectations and gave what many are calling his best performance yet.
And then, of course, there was the pommel horse moment. Another fan couldn’t hold back: “The way he pommeled in the dance!!! Gymnastics Now chimed in on X with, “Stephen. DID. THAT. 🔥🔥🔥 33/40 — constantly improving AND doing it for men’s gymnastics! 🙌👏🏻🎉.” Stephen and Rylee Arnold’s scores are definitely on the up. Week 1? 21/40. Week 2? 22. By Week 3, he hit 30 and 32 across the two nights. Now, with a 33/40, it’s clear the gymnast is on a serious upward trend. That perfect 40? A fan put it perfectly: “Every time Stephen and Rylee perform, I just get so happy for her that she can actually choreograph a difficult routine and her partner can perform it.” Her previous partner, Too Hot to Handle star Harry Jowsey. Although the chemistry between them was good, numerous fans criticized him for his stiffness and inability to do complex dance steps.
According to them, this ruined Rylee’s chances of winning. But Stephen? He’s a gymnast, used to pulling off insane moves with precision, and it shows. The result? Some of the most impressive routines on the show—and a real shot at that mirrorball trophy. Could this be Stephen’s year to dominate DWTS and cap off an already epic run? Only time will tell, but the odds are looking pretty good!
